About Us

The primary care includes Region Blekinge's health centers, youth clinics, and wound centers.

Residents of Blekinge who become ill turn directly to the health centers and gain access to healthcare that does not require hospital resources. Care is provided in all cities of the county, in several smaller towns, and sometimes in homes. Our goal is to be a modern outpatient care where teamwork and the needs of patients are at the center.

Samariten Health Center has approximately 17,000 registered patients and is part of Hälsoval. We have several professionals working together.

We have specialist clinics for asthma/COPD and diabetes. The health center operates according to the RAK concept (right use of competence) where we strive for each employee to work at the top of their competence. The health center is environmentally certified.

The Job

We are now looking for two summer substitutes as nursing assistants at Samaritens Health Center.

The work with us is varied, often with a high pace. Regular tasks include sampling, EKG, assisting doctors in minor surgeries, rectoscopies, urinary catheterization, and various examinations. The tasks also include ordering supply materials.

Some weekend and evening shifts at the Karlshamn emergency center are included in the position.

About You

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant. Previous work experience in healthcare is an advantage.

You are confident and experienced in your professional role, and you work methodically and with quality assurance. You contribute to our good work environment by being positive, solution-focused, and cooperative with all professions. The pace in the laboratory is sometimes high with a lot of sampling, which is why it is important that you enjoy a fast pace and can work independently, efficiently, and accurately. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Applicants who are considered for employment must present an extract from the Police Authority's criminal record before employment (form 442.9). Some of our positions are security classified, where the employee must undergo a security screening interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
